Who’s Up For A Curry?
We love a good curry and there is nothing more rewarding than preparing your very own home-made one. Here is an easy-to-follow recipe which shows you how to make your own spices. It is vegetarian but if you want to add fish, for example Cod or raw King Prawns it works very well indeed.
INGREDIENTS
Serves 4
For the spices
8 cardamon pods
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp fennell seeds
2 tsp curry powder
3 garlic cloves
1 red chilli
1 thumb-size piece of fresh ginger (grated)
1 whole lemon grass
2 tins coconut milk
1/2 kg sweet potatoes
1 leek
2 peppers (yellow and orange)
250g green beans
250g mange tout
1 large onion
oil for frying
375g egg noodles
METHOD
