On 15th May 2012, my partner and I moved in together to our new flat. Once the personal items were in, it was time to turn our attention to seeking out the best utility providers.
Our first choice together was our electricity supplier (romantic eh!) We had inherited a meter run by EDF and I knew that relationship had to end (with EDF that is). I wanted our new flat to be one which run on green energy.
I can’t remember exactly when it was that I’d read an article on Dale Vince, founder of Ecotricity but as I sat down with my partner and we discovered more about Dale and his ethos for Ecotricity, we decided that they would be our new supplier.
The switch was seamless and on 8th September 2013, just coming up for a year of presenting It’s All Good Radio Show I had the huge pleasure of interviewing Dale Vince, founder of Ecotricity for myself.
Here’s our interview together.
Like what you hear? Then make the switch as we did, just follow this link and tell Ecotricity that you heard it here at It’s All Good Radio Show.
Fast forward a year to the day, 8th September 2014, and I have the pleasure of sharing my interview with the knowledgeable and charming Hugo House, Senior Project Developer for Good Energy.
Good Energy was founded over a decade ago with the driving force and ingenuity of Juliet Davenport with one clear goal – to make a difference to climate change.
“We’ve come a long way in just 10 years, and we have ambitious plans for the future: a goal of making the UK 100% renewable by 2050, built around a British homegrown energy movement.” Juliet Davenport, Good Energy CEO
Listen here to my interview with Hugo and find out more about the people behind Good Energy.
Like what you hear then check out Good Energy and mention that you heard about them via It’s All Good Radio Show.
So the choice is yours. Do you stay with your faceless, fossil fuel dependent energy supplier or do you switch to a personable, customer focused energy company who is firmly faced on a clean energy future and has your best interests at heart?
I’ll leave you to ponder that thought, only don’t ponder too long or else you’ll be enjoying another high priced energy bill this winter.
